My AD 2000 domain is “xyz” I am installing a new Exchange 2003 server that will have my users access a new email address. That new email address is “abc.org… as in joe@abc.org” I am publishing the Exchange Server 2003 server through an ISA 2004 firewall. How do set Exchange up to do this? (I’ve heard parts of the answer before…can anyone give me a simple…step-by step answer)

When you setup the Exchange 2003 server the recipient policy will generate e-mail addresses based on your AD domain name. To change this you go to System Manager>Recipients>Recipient Policy. Then modify the SMTP address to reflect the e-mail domain name that you have. If you want the Recipient Policy to auto generate e-mail addresses in a specific forma say first.last@domain.com then have a look at link below.
