I wonder if you can help me with a query on message wait lights. I have an analog telephone with a message wait light which I want to make compatible with the Definity PABX (I beleive the analog ports are being programmed as 2500 telephones). I need to know the specifics of the signal which is generated by the PABX to tell the analogue phone that there is a messsage waiting on the voicemail system. i.e. what happens on the input to the analog telephone when a voicemail message is waiting?

Hi,

On the 1st page of the station form (Type 2500 (analogue)), there is a field for "message waiting indicator". This can be set for "neon" or "LED". I believe that the majority of phones compatible with PABX's should work.

Regards,
