Must output line chart info over consecutive weeks - help

I am creating a line chart that shows total number of records in specific states over time.

I am having the same problem as some other posters to the forum. I need to see chart information for every consecutive week even there are no changes to the value of the counts during that week. I will not be able to add or modify tables connected to Crystal to make this happen.

Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. I need to present the information next week!

A crude work-round is to include something that is bound to be there each week.

From what I have been seeing on other posting, it looks like should I create a mock crosstab. I am new to this. But I was able to create functions to calculate every item (like weekly date, totals for records in a calculated state etc.) I want to add the functions in the crosstab (several different functions for every week).

However, I cannot seem to add these items in a crosstab (exception is overwriting labels).

I also cannot find a good example of a mock crosstab. -(


P.S. I am using Crystal Reports 10, Professional Edition.

I gave up and had to Excel to do this.
