Running an IPO500v2 with 8.1.79 software. Trying to upload a 90 sec .wav file to the system. I have done this a few times with no issues.
For some reason on this one, I cannot even get the system to try to upload the .wav file. It is formatted properly. I have bootp and TFTP enabled. TFTP is set as the IPO Lan1 address. I have tried placing the file in both the Manager working directory and also in the primary folder on the system card. Tones are set to wav. Rebooted several times and it never tried to upload the file.
What am I missing?
Here is a monitor trace:

Just use embedded file management to upload the holdmusic.wav file to the Primary folder on the SD card

My guess is that the file has either a invalid format or it is too big.
Try this one to see if that works, rename it to "HoldMusic.wav" before uploading

Thanks for the replies. I had it in both the Manager directory and the primary folder on the SD card. After reboots, I would never see it try to upload to TFTP, just monitor showing it failed. Even a known sample file we used never uploaded. Set it up on our system and had it working in 5 minutes.
Looks like the issue was with routes/firewall ports. There is a voice network and data network connected to the IPO. Manager runs through the Data network and never has an issue connecting. I ended up opening the manager ports on the voice firewall and as soon as that was applied I saw the file being uploaded in the TFTP log. Still doesn't make sense though as the Manager and VM Pro are on the data network and work fine.

I've known files that appear to be in the correct format not work, even though they play on a PC they dont work on the IPO. It's like they're slightly corrupted. When I create the file myself using the original source it works fine :)

Don't see the reason why to use Manager to deploy the file via TFTP...

if there already is a holdmusic file in the card, name your holdmusic something else like holdmusic2 or playme.wav. Then change the file name to play in config.

You said the file is 90 seconds? I had an issue with one being exactly 90 seconds and not working. I cut a second off and it started working. It seems like it needs to be under 90 seconds to work.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
