Multiple VirtualHosts and SSL?

Perhaps some of the experts here can help me? I have a virtual host that is something like this.

NameVirtualHost 12.34.56.78:443

And I'm trying to get two sites to function with their own SSL certificates. I have created two similar virtual hosts, but only the certificate from the first host is used. Whenever I visit either of my two virtual hosts, I get the same certificate at the client, so one client is a-ok, but the other complains that it got a certificate whose domain is different from the site.
Any Ideas? Steve Kiehl

I can't remember how to set up aliases in redhat/mandrake. I can add an alias to /etc/hosts but that just resolves multiple IP's to the same IP.
For now I just have each set up on a different port. Steve Kiehl

Are you using the "ServerName" directive in the configuration of both sites?
