I am running IIS 5.0 on win2k with a couple of domains and in addition to several subdomains of the type and also other domains of the type
All domains/subdomains are located on the same IP 123.123.123.123 and port 80

We are using a WinGate proxy server (V. 4.1.0)

Every once in a while, the subdomains and other domains tends to stop working, and I must reboot the server and manually start each site in order to get them back up.
I tried setting up a job that stops IIS, reboots and starts IIS and WinGate every night, but that´s obviously not enough.

Anyone encountered this before?

I´m originally not a serverAdm, so I´m somewhat on thin ice here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm interested in knowing too.. i thought MS designed IIS to be on 24/7.. mine sometimes restarts for no reason too... very very annoying.
