multiple SIP trunks one provider

I have been asked to implement an IP Office with 3 different SIP lines for 3 different lawyers in the same phone system. The client does not want the SIP trunks to in any way touch each other for billing purposes, so they need to act as completely separate trunks. The problem I am having is that the salesperson sold them SIP trunks from the same provider that registers with IP addresses and not username and password. Is there any way to do this? This is on a IP Office R11.4 SP1.

Interesting setup here. Is it one DID per SIP trunk? You could specify the specific DID in the SIP URI for each line if so and I "think" it "might" work out OK.

No they will have multiple DIDs they just want to separate the billing for each trunk. 1 lawyer wants 4 channels another wants 2 channels as well as the third and they want to be billed accordingly.

It still may work if you specify the main DID on each line's SIP URI. Inbound calls doesn't really matter much to you you just have to route the call by DID the provider should route it by SIP trunk correctly (hopefully). The issue I see is the outbound calls but I think this would work.

Lets say you have 3 main DIDs. 800-555-1111, 800-555-1112, 800-555-1113

First line
First SIP URI 8005551111 incoming and outgoing ID 17
Second SIP URI set to auto (or * depending on version) set to incoming 17 outgoing 99(not used)

Second line
First SIP URI 8005551112 incoming and outgoing ID 18
Second SIP URI set to auto (or * depending on version) set to incoming 18 outgoing 99(not used)

Third line
First SIP URI 8005551113 incoming and outgoing ID 19
Second SIP URI set to auto (or * depending on version) set to incoming 19 outgoing 99(not used)

You will need an ARS for each SIP trunk, one pointed to line 17, 18 and 19

Lawyers like to make money so why not spend some =)

The issue is if they verify by IP they can't have 3 trunks from the same IP.

Easiest would be if it was one trunk and they could just bill based on DDI.

If it is possible to order three trunks without registration with the same public IP, then it must also be possible to use three trunks from the same IP.

Since no registration is needed, it should only be necessary to fill the headers in every invite with the correct data.

We had this issue with Gamma before - we wanted two SIP trunks from them on the same system )so same registration IP). We found that if we had one of their older SBCs and one of their newer SBCs it would allow it, but two newer SBCs and you get the error that the IP is already assigned to another endpoint.

Checked with our account manager and they confirmed that one trunk per IP is all they support - I did moan but got nowhere.

We use Gamma and have several customers using multiple trunks on the same public IP, we just ask Gamma to provision them on different SBC's at their end

Ekster - we tried the same but was advised that Gamma wouldn't do it because it is not supported by them and any issues wouldn't be supportable.
