Multiple reboots 2

After I replaced the battery on the mobo and re-set the BIOS, an annoying problem developed. The computer starts to boot OK, but during the memory test, it restarts the boot process over and over again. This continues until I push ESC. Everything is normal after that. Any ideas/fixes for this nuisance?

have you tried setting quick post (test) in bios. This will only scan the mem once and then continue booting, and should fix your prob.

Hi Wirdo, Your tip was right on. POST was set for disabled. Enabling it fixed the problem 100%. Thanks for your help, Marvinhl.
