Using CR9
In the "select expert" I need to specify (3) different ranges to get my complete set of parts.

#1. Range req'd. is {ipart.ippart}in 9402-000 to 9402-868
#2. Range req'd. is {ipart.ippart}in 9506-100 to 9506-750
#3. Range req'd. is {ipart.ippart}in 9602-000 to 9603-999

What is the correct syntax for getting CR "select expert" to pull all 3 ranges into the report ??

Thanks
G

{ipart.ippart} in ["9402-000" to "9402-868
", "9506-100" to "9506-750", "9602-000" to "9603-999"]

You might create a multiple range string parameter (Insert->Field Object->Right click parameters->New-Name it->Select->Value/Type should be string->Click the Allow Multiple Values and Range values or Range and Discrete Values).

Then the reocrd selection firmula is simply:

{ipart.ippart} = {?MyParameter}

The report will now prompt for your ranges and it will create the proper SQL and pass it to the database.
