So I have the zone files waiting till I put the info in the named file, but what about the reverse lookup and the MX for each individual name.
I have the DNS BIND book, but these answers don't seem to gross my eyes in my searchs. I have read a little on adding CNAME for them but mainly would need a little more info than that.
So mainly is there someone who can show me some code here if there forward and revese lookup files with both multiple domain names and MX records for each zone on 1 ip address?????
Thanks for the time

A reverse record can only point to a single A record. You cannot point one d.c.b.a.in-addr.arpa record to multiple A records.

However, you can point multiple MX records for different domains to the same IP address without a problem.

Chris.
