I think my thinking is correct on this matter, but, let me run it by you experts.

I host multiple domains on my exchange 2000 server. My thinking is that I cannot have two of the same names on two differnt domains like: jack@xyz.com and jack@abc.com, unless the actual login (username for owa or pop/smtp) is different.

Is my thinking correct?
thanks in advance,
Dale

You can have multiple domains configured for each user. Be sure that each domain is listed as a generic '@domain.com' in your Enterprise Recipient Update Policy in Exchange System Manager.

You can then add the email addresses to the E-mail Addresses tab of your AD user objects. Mail will route just fine, and the Recipient Update Policy SHOULD take care of OWA logons, too - it might get tricky if they need to logon as joe@domain.com to OWA. There's a decent blog entry here:

if you run into additional problems with OWA itself. But mail routing will be fine.
