I want to print 2 copies of a document (up to 3 pages each) from a DOS-program. The first copy shall be printed on paper from drawer 1 and the second copy shall be printed on paper from drawer 2 and with duplex.
I have the PCL/PJL commands for the number of copies, duplex and drawer-selection. But how can I tell the printer the difference between copy 1 and copy 2?
Maybe there is something like an 'if'-command like in c++?

Thanks in advance for all answers.

Hello,

Are you writing a program to create the documents, embedding the codes in your print file or are you just copying the files to a printer ?

Actually I'm not writing a new software. I'm just trying to implement some new PCL codes into our internal business software. It is a DOS pogram which sends printjobs to LPT1 and I write the commands directly into the text which shall be printed.

Can you post some of the code that you are putting into the text ? I'd like to see exactly waht you are doing.
