Multiple Client Policy - Possible to use 1 tape?

Hi All,

I have just created a new policy to backup data on multiple servers but when testing it attempts to use different tapes.

Is it not possible to use 1 tape for all clients?

I'm using NetBackup 6.0MP4 on W2K2003 Standard by the way.

I'm assuming Netbackup is not a NICE supplied product which is possibly why you haven't received any responses, if so you might want to find another forum more directed to backups ... I don't know much about backup applications myself so unfortunately cannot offer assistance but would suggest seeing if you can direct a backup task to a specific tape drive and have multiple tasks to backup the specific data to each tape device.
