I work in MIS for a construction company , we have several project managers that are looking for an IT solution for watching progress calendars on several houses , all from one central place (public folder or webpage).

For example, I am interested in creating 1 calendar for each of 30 different houses that we are currently constructing. What would be the easiest way to use Outlook/Exchange server to create these calendars and publish them for easy updating/viewing?

I'm not 100% sure you can do what you want with Exchange. If you want to be able to view multiple calendars at the same time, I don't believe you can do it.

If you want to have all the calendars easily available to the users, that is easy.

I would make one public folder to hold the calendars and then just create the seperate calendars under that one folder. It's as simple as clicking on each seperate calendar.

I just realized you might be asking how to actually go about creating the calendar.

You can use Outlook with an administrator account, to create the folders. Just right click on the public folders tree and select new folder and choose calendar as the type.

Like I said in the first post I would create a root folder to hold these calendars first. Then you can use Outlook to provide the correct permission on that folder. That way you don't have to permission all 30 calendars seperatly.
