Multiple alternate recipients in 5.5 1

Is it possible to have more than one alternate recipient for an outlook mailbox in Exchange 5.5? I want to have an account for customer service where the mail sent to this address would be delivered to multiple mailboxes. Currently, we just use the "alternate recipient" method on the user's profile, but this only allows one alternate. Is there another way besides specifying the alternate recipient?

On the server, make a group, assign all those people who should get the mail, and then assign that group as the alternate recipient for the service account.

Assign a distribution List as the alternate recipient if you need the extra mailbox, otherwise just assign the address in question to a distribution list.
