Hello,

I am having a problem when I try to multicast from my server (which is Win 2000 server with a Intel gigabit card which also works with all the other computers I use) to my laptop (which is a Broadcom 570x Gigabit card). We made the boot disk and used the NDIS drivers supplied by Broadcom. It doesn't give us an error when we boot the client up. It connects and sees the server and the image file, and gets all the way to the end and just sits on "waiting for multicast session" and then just hangs there. I put in a netgear card into the PCM slot and that works but very slow, so I really want to get the embedded card running. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Wes H

Good question! I'm having the same issue with one of our Dell servers that has an embedded Broadcom Gb NIC. Anybody???

I figured it out, I just downloaded the newest drivers from Broadcom's site and all started to work. I forget their site, but it worked like a charm, but you need to create the boot disk manually.
