MultiBoot Menu doesn't recognise USB keyboard

I'm not really sure where to ask this so please tell me to go away if it's not a Vista problem.

New computer. Wireless Logitech USB keyboard and mouse (no drivers supplied). Single SATA Hard Drive partitioned into five. XP SP2 on G works fine. Vista Beta 2 on D, and Vista RC2 on C - both work (with problems, of course, but I don't think they're relevant).

The machine recognises the keyboard and I can press F2 before the boot menu to get into and navigate the BIOS Setup. But when the Vista boot menu comes up it doesn't respond to the keyboard. All OSes recognise the keyboard when they're up and running.

I have plugged in an old keyboard to the PS2 socket (is that the right name? The mauve coloured one anyway) which is recognised, so I just keep it under the desk for use at startup - but it doesn't seem quite right that I have to do this. Is this a problem anyone has seen? And/Or does anybody have any idea what I can do?

Enjoy,
Tony

Ain't it always the simple things? :)

I figured, as the bios was recognising the keyboard, that it must already be enabled but after reading the link I went and checked. Clearly it's more complex than I realised. USB 2.0 Support was enabled but Legacy USB Support was disabled. I enabled it and all is now well.

Thank you. I can now put the old keyboard back on gathering dust duties.

Enjoy,
Tony
