Multi-line controltiptext

Anyone found a way of displaying multiple lines in a controltiptext. A few people have advised using vbCRLF, CHR(10) etc ... as the record separator but these display as squares or vertical bars on my machine. Also tried using CTRL-Enter at design time and this doesn't work either.

Anyone out there cracked this problem?

Foada, Its a multi-line controltexttip I need NOT a multi-line tooltip. These are not the same things. I

I don't know how it is with ControlTipTexts, but ToolTips can only contain multiple lines as of a specific version of the shell. I suppose that controltiptexts are just wrappers (or maybe even just another name) around tooltiptexts and suffer from the same limitations.

I think one of the differences is that tooltips only apply to certain types of controls such as buttons and images whereas controltiptext are associated with controls in general ie text boxes, labels etc ...

Both the Command Button and Image controls in VB have a "ToolTipText" property as do the TextBox and the Label.? If you choose to battle wits with the witless be prepared to lose.

I believe that 'controltiptext' is a Tooltip in VBA
