I have a PC with on an board video adaptor (normal VGA out)which goes to my monitor. This has worked fine but now I have installed a nvidia card and now the PC only outputs from this. I want it to output on both but when I goe to Display settings I can see only one adaptor (the nvidia). I have looked at my device manager and it also only shows the nvidia adaptor. I have checked the BIOS settings and the onboard is enabled.

How can I make both of them usable at one time. I want to output to them both simultaneously.

Thanks

with out knowing what mainboard you have, since you did not discern that information, I will conjecture an educated guess...

the mainboard does not support this option, it is either the onboard or the card, not both...

Normally, on-board cards are disabled when add-on cards are detected.

You can try to look into BIOS and see if there is a manual setting you can change to keep the second adapter enabled.

I'm assuming the Nvidia card does not have a second output?
