How can I use Windows 98 as a server for an MTS Component
I have installed MTS for windows 9x and created the package with the component in it (also DCOM98 is ok) but when I call the component from another machine it tells me ActiveX can't create object

Dear Dev3tier u see it not wise to use win98 at ur MTS compoente server due to security and other thingy but if u still want to use it then u have to make client MSI for ur client to access the server..go to MTS and at the package u created select EXPORT package it will make a MSI file which u have to run at the client to access this from there...
but personally i advise u to make atleast Windows NT as ur componnent server or may be Windows200 for its COM+services
Regards
Nouman
