MSysObject table does not match right click properties,

I am using the MSysObject table as a date created and date modified reference in my reports, but when i compare that information with the info I get from right click properties of reports the information does not match. Why? Is there any way I can "refresh" this information in the table? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
