HI.

I have recently installed MSN Messenger 6 on my home cpu. However when installing it, it installed it without removing Version 5.5 on my machine and I cannot locate a uninstall for that version.

So currently I have 2 versions but they often conflict.... I would like to remove Version 5 but can't find it... Any ideas?

Start+cntl panel+add/remove programmes
and then click on msn mesinger and remove it

Yes I have done that before but the only one that it lists to remove is version 6.0 not 5?

Also I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but whenever I sign on through AOL... It signs into my Msngr account even though I don't have it set up to do so?

Uninstall 6.

Read this thread and remove 5.
