Hi,

Currently my msn has retained my password for my msn. Anyone that accesses my computer simply clicks on the msn and is logged into my account. I want to know if there is a way to remove this, so that one must always sign into msn.

thank you,
Joe

Click onto Tools>Options>Accounts and remove your password. Click OK, and viola!

Hi,

Tools -> Options and I do not see Accounts? Are you talking about msn 6.2? or somewhere else?

Start, Run, control userpasswords2
Advanced
At the top box you can remove your MSFT .NET password. This does not remove it from the MSFT site, only locally. Now MSDN will be forced to prompt for credentials.

The Accounts tab is on my msn 6.2. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough before :)

Type Control UserPasswords2 in the Start Run Box. In the resulting window select Advanced/ Manage Passwords.

In Stored User Names and Passwords, click Passport.Net\*, and then click Remove.
This does not delete your .NET Passport, but it prevents automatic sign-ins.

instead of doing this:
Start, Run, control userpasswords2

is there any other way to access that window from the user interface ?

In Control Panel/ User Accounts/ UserNamexxxx/ Change my .Net Password

Under Related Tasks there is a link to "Manage my network passwords" which will bring up the Stored Passwords box.
