Hi
I had this same fault but on an IPLDK20 today. My ***648 was on port 001 and all the msg lights on the LDP handsets were lit up.
S/W level was 2.1Dd
Upgraded to 3.8 and system now working correctly again.

Thanks for your update. I am still puzzled about what ***648 means.
