Hello, I would like to know what does it mean if there are records in MSF857 which have in the column lab_tran_desc value "GENERATED FROM TIMEKEEPING HOURS"...
Some of these records have in the column lab_tran_hours value of 0 - which I think is wrong (or not?).
Thanks a lot.

In the payroll module there is the option to create labor costing transactions. Theses are automatically generated when the payroll runs. They show up on the mso850 - labor costing transactions. When a person has zero hours on the payroll screen mso891 and the cost box is flagged at "Y" then a labor costing transaction will be created for that employee for that day for that work code. It is not uncommon for the hours to be zero.

Hope this helps.
