msdrv.exe 1

I'm going insane because when I start win2k its gives me
an error message that it can not find msdrv.exe or one of
its components. Ive searched everywhere and I can't find
what that file came from or where to get it. Any help
would be appreciated

The msdrv.exe, I believe, is part of the backdoor.asylum virus. It sounds like you have the virus in quarantine and it is try to launch due to the load and run sequence during the boot. This is where your error "cannot find msdrv.exe or one of it's components" is originating from.

Thanks Cirrus, I did have the virus in quarratine, I just thought that msdrv.exe was a valid windiws file, I wasn't thinksing, I must be slipping in my old age, I'm 20 now. When I was 17, my first idea would've been to check win.ini.
