Msconfig , & Ctrl Alt Del will not load Taskmanager 1

System has latest Virus updates, no apparent infections.. have run CWShredder, Spybot & Adaware Personal and removed everything..
Still not able to run msconfig..even from the actual file..

Something's asking the system to dial the ISP up... I've reset the homepage and told Explorer to never dial a connection.. it still comes up..
Sounds spyware-ish but what else can I try??

I ran Process Explorer and stopped a few proccesses that looked decidedly suss... bit woried about a couple.. LSS but as it turns out it seems to have fixed the problem..
Am running Panda online at this time ( long job.. only dialup ) but expect system to be Ok..
