MS Word hang when network printers not mapped

MS Word 2007 seems to hang and goes no where when my network printers are hang or not mapped correctly. It does not matter how I start MS Word, it will hang no matter what as long as I'm having problems with my network printers not mapped.

Any suggestion is appreciated. I'm using Windows Vista Enterprise version.
