NW only writes 32k to the tape. Labeling a volume works fine.

If this is a new installation, make sure that ntbackup will work fine.

Also check whether the drive performs fine with tapeexer.exe .

Do not proceed with NW before these things work fine.

NW always uses 32kB for the label, other block sizes are possible depending on the tape drive. Don't know which type is used here. It looks more that NW could not detect the end of media pattern to continue writing beyond the label. If labeling is fine, why should the drive not be possible to write with another block size.
 
Good idea.

I think that it is a driver problem. I installed a networker server on the storage node client. Well, he finds the tape device but can not write to it.

tapeexer can not find the device (rd=....:\\tape0 or \\.\tape0).

Be aware that some programs are utilities which only run locally !
