MS SQLServer 7 to Oracle & Sybase migrations

I will soon have to migrate a VB/C++ application from MS SQL Server 7 to both Oracle 8 and Sybase System 11 versions. Database access is mainly ADO/DB library - ODBC.

Has anyone gone through these migrations before? If so, I would appreciate any pointers of things to look out for.
