MS SQL Server does not work when wireless lan connection enabled

Hi,

We have windows 2000 advanced server on our laptop which has built in integrated wireless network adapter. When I enable wireless connection to router, MS SQL Server does not work, I cannot connect to the server which is used by any other application. What could be the problem? So, what I do is disable wireless connection and start my application and then enable wireless connection. What is the workaround for this problem?
