MS Outlook - e-mail stuck in outbox

How can I get rid of an e-mail in the outbox, I right-clicked and tried to delete, but it doesn't work. When I try to open it says MAPI spooler has already begun transmitting this message, now the user can not get e-mail neither can sent anything.

Reboot and don't log into the network or mail server. Go into Outlook (which should run in off-line mode), and delete that file from the outbox. That is, if you're on an exchange server...
