I've had a couple workstations infected with the Blaster worm today, so I'm not sure if this symptom is associated with it, but...

so far today 3 computers in the office have had the MS Office user names changed from e.g. "Jane S. Doe" to "F*ck**g Sh!thead" -- no joke. So if I was to open an Excel network file already opened by Jane S. Doe, I will get the message "file.xls is locked for editing by F*ck**ng Sh!thead".

Does someone know how I can change the name back to Jane S. Doe? Please help. Thanks!

More info...

All computers run Windows 2000 sp3 and have Office 2000. All have had the Blaster patch installed.

Doubt its blaster, more like users. Tools -> Options -> User Information
