Hi All:

Hopefully an easy one. I have a form. On this form I would like a data entry person to browse to a picture and associate it with the record they are creating. On the form, I would like to display only a thumbnail. However when the user double-clicks the thumbnail I would like for the photo to open in the user's default photo application. Any ideas what controls to use or the best way to go about this? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

TIA!!!!

Almost forgot.....using Access 97....thanks again.

Hi there,

One thing you could try is on the picture's OnDblClick
enter this code

Dim stAppName As String

stAppName = " ENTER IN HERE THE PATH TO THE EXE FILE "
Call Shell(stAppName, 1)
