Hello.

I'm trying to make an automated program to draw "W" beams in AutoCAD. I have scanned the required information and converted it to rows and cells in excel. The numbers are only 2 at the most decimal places.

I'm wanting to take that Information and use it to draw up all the beams. ( "I" beams).

The main thing I guess is getting and using the information from Excell and using those numbers in ACAD 2005 to be able to create polylines or lines doesn't matter.

Any help would be great

Thanks

Matt

Hi,

are you trying to IMPORT data from Excel into AutoCAD?

What kind of file does AutoCAD want? Alot of programs will accept an Excel Sheet directly.

Skip,
