I am a novice at SQL database. I am looking for a good book to learn SQL database design and implementations. Hopefully this same book can also prepare me for the 70-029 MS certification test. Any suggestions is much appreciated.
-029 is one tough test (as one test-taker put it: whoever said 70-029 was the hardest Microsoft test was sadly mistaken; its the hardest test ever!).
The books that are geared towards test prep, while they do a decent job with that task, are not the same books I turn to for gaining insight or solutions to SQL Server issues. The test prep books are geared to helping you prepare for the exam; the others are oriented to helping you with daily design and admin issues. Robert Bradley
