I have a microsoft Access application which I have installed on another machine. The other machine does not have MS access installed. So, I installed runtime access and the application. The MS Access App will not run on the machine. I get some bogus error which is asking for an enty, you hit cancel several times and errors out again with an event error.

I know this is really vague, but it is the only way I can describe it. I have put this app on several machines and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Any suggestions would greatly help.

Always same version of windows ?
Maybe some missing or different ActiveX controls ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

I have a version of this application in Access 97 and 2000 version installing it onto a Windows NT.

How can I troubleshoot it on the client side??

The access RunTime version must matche the database version.

I knew that the runtime had to match the database version and all of the references are there on the client. I'm totally stumped.
