I'm trying to test a website (ASP with MS Access 2003 backend) from my computer and keep getting the "must use an updatable query" error. I'm running XP (home edition I believe).

On Windows 2000 I knew where to go to give the IUSR (internet guest user?) update rights but on XP I can't find it.

Can someone give me a step-by-step on how to change the settings?

thanks~

yes. this db and all the queries work fine on another computer. I'm just trying to move a copy of the entire thing to my home computer.

I used to just be able to right-click on the .mdb file and go to security and add permissions for Internet Users and Guest Users.

For some reason I can't find this option anymore. I'm sure it has to do with permissions but I can't find where to set them.

thats all.
