Does anyone have a solution to repair the MRxSmb error in the Windows 2000 event log regarding other computer believing they are the master browser? I am getting lots of them.

I am receiving this same error and my computer will not talk to the network. Can some one please help me out with this? I am getting very frustrated.

By chance did either of you decomission the first 2k DC that was brought on-line in your network?

This CAN be caused by a Kerberos Key Distribution Center service that is not running or is dsiabled. Check Services to determine if the KDC is, in fact running.

I can't seem to find the KDC in the service section of admin tools. Maybe I am looking in the wrong area or am misunderstanding what you are telling me.

okay, I have solved this problem, now i have a new problem. The primary machine that I use will no longer communicate with the other machine. How can i reset the entire network? i want to reinstall it all from scratch. will this work in resetting the machines? I know i need to set the browser to manual so that i do not get the same error with the mrxsmb error. any help with this would be greatly apprecaited.
