*I don't really know where this Topic goes, but I thought this'd be the best place*

I have a few MPEG Files that appear to be MPEG2 Encoded. They playm back fine in any Media Player, BUT I cannot use the seek bar because either it just isn't there (Winamp) or it causes an error (WMP10). They also appear to have zero length (although all of them are about an hour long)...

I tried converting it with WinAVI, but it keeps freezing after a while.

Are there any programs that can fix this?

when you say appears to have zero length, is that the time indication in the media player, or the file size on the system?

might be a codec problem.

does the elecard mpeg-2 player have a working slider(google for it and install the trial version)? last time i played mpeg2 files that was the only player i could get to work.
