MPC Key Code Question

We have a customer who is in dire need of some additional voice ports on CP. We have the keycodes, but the MPC cards are not due to arrive for another 3 days. We have a couple at our disposal in our lab. Does anyone know if there is some relationship between keycode and MPC? In other words, can we "borrow" ours out of the lab and then swap when our parts come in?
