This is weird!

Have standard intel based home PC with XP Pro. All of a sudden, any mp3 file, if I right click or attempt to delete crashes explorer.

I can double click & play fine. Even if I create a text file & rename to MP3 format, it does the same. Searched google & can find no related issues.

I can move them in dos though using move command. Have un-associated & re-associated in windows with no joy. Any ideas anyone. Thanks.

Take a peek at the faq and make sure you don't have any viruses, malware, spyware, etc. Could also be the mouse driver got currupted. Have you checked the mouse button actions, especially the right button?

Yeah. Thanks. Not the mouse as it occurs when hitting the del key also. Nice thought though. Could be spyware, will check. I keep Mcafee up to date and use Stinger reguarly but things can slip by though. Last time I used spyware I deleted items req to run certain software which was a bit stupid for someone of my experience. Will try again though. thanks.
