I have found that the MP2 quality output in premiere 6.0 is the best in comparison to the other options, however I am using Uleads DVD workshop to author and cant for the life in me get it to take the seperate audio track which is exported as a Wav file from Premiere. Im sure someone has a really simple answer!!!

Also the footage has in the past looked a bit jerky,

Any help would really be appreciated

I haven't had a great deal of experience with the MP2 output from premiere (did they have that in 6.0? I thought it wasn't added until 6.5). What I've found works better is to export as DV and then use a third party program (specifically TMPGEnc) to convert it from DV to MPEG. I've found that TMPGEnc is faster and the quality is actually better than Premiere's MPG encoder.

If you still feel you should stick with Premiere's video you can use TMPGEnc to convert the resulting wav file to MPEG Layer II audio and not even touch the video.
