I am in the process of setting up a new server which will be used as a Terminal Server. I set it up with 2 partitions (C for the OS and D for the rest). I would like to have all the user profiles on the D drive. How do I set it up so that when a user logs in, his profile is created on the D drive?

Thanks in advance!
Scott

On the NewServer, create a share call TSUSERS on D: Drive.

Under the User Account In ADUC, go to the "Terminal Services Profile" tab. Under Profile Path enter the path to the NewServer, sharename, and the directory to create.

example, most do it like this:
\\NewServer\TSUSERS\%username%

When the user logs on using TS a profile (directory) will be created using the client username.

thanks whokilledkenny,

I did that, but when I logged in with the username, the profile was created under c:\documents and settings instead of the \\servername\tsusers\username directory. I have everything set up in AD so I am not sure what the problem is.
