Moving to a E2K Native Mode

Hi All,
We currently have a large mixed mode environment for 5.5 and 2000 Exchange servers. Most mailboxes have been moved to E2K.
My question regards the Exchanage Legacy DN attribute. We use this attribite currently to run certain tasks and was wondering if the attribute will remain once we turn off the 5.5 servers and go native 2000?
