I am trying to remove an Exchange 2003 server from my domain. I have installed Exchange on a new server, copied all the mailboxes across and am trying to remove the old one. It will not let me as the public folders are stopping it. I am in the process of moving all replica's as instructed, only so far it has taken all night and there are hardly any folders at all with braely any data. Should it be taking htis long? is there any way I can delete them all as I have copies on a back up that I can use. This is stopping my email migration and email is not currently working. (not related but need to sort this out to remove old server)
