Moving new numbers to existing PRI.

I just want to verify something before I move it next week, as it is a big service interrupting move.

I am having AT&T move 4 lines to one of our existing PRI's. IN this PRI we currently have 92 members. From what I understand I have to add one more member for each number being added and I have to then go to inc call handling trtmt trunk group 1 (our PRI trunk group) then add the 4 numbers into the handling treatment form and point them to their respective VDN or extension. Does this all sound correct, sorry moving to PRI is one of the things I have only read about and not performed in a live environment yet.

What do you mean by having 92 members? You have 92 other numbers already on it?

Yes, we have 4 g450's with each one having a MM710b card in it. We currently have 92 numbers on the overall pri.

I am sorry I just realized that since we have 4 pri's with 23 channels each that totals 92 members, I am not fully using all 92. I think we are using about 70ish. So once, AT&T ports the numbers over to the PRI lines, I will then be able to change inc inc treatment and point them to their respective destination. I was a bit confused the the member thing as well.

You should be using all 92 channels. if you have 4 PRI's ...they each have 23 like you said, so 92 channels. AT&T is porting over 4 numbers. Not 4 channels...at least that is what it sounds like.

If you do a 'list trunk-group' you should see all of the available trunks/trunk groups. Then like you said you can make a change in the 'inc call handling trtmt trunk group 1'.

I don't think you need to add anything into the trunk group itself.
