I need to move the databases from my Legato server to a different drive.

We are running 7.21 on Windows Server 2003.
The database currently resides on the C drive, I need to move it to the D drive.

Do I need to do a new install and move the folder over or is there a way to redirect Networker to a new location.

thanks
Rob

You have 2 possibilities:

1. Move a NW path using the install process - easy
- Shutdown NetWorker
- Move the residual ..\nsr path to the new location
- Re-install NW by changing the path appropriately

2. Mowe a NW path by patching the registry - more complicated
- Shutdown NetWorker
- Open the registry
- Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Legato/NetWorker and
change the parameter "Path" appropriately
- Goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services and for
the services
hagentd
nsrd
nsrexecd
nsrpm
change the parameter "ImagePath" appropriately.

Then restart the NetWorker server. Good luck.
