Move/Resize Mode not working properly

Crystal XI, SQL

When clicking on a field in design or preview, the field does not go into Move/Resize mode visually... I am able to hunt for the resize points and resize the field, but it does not highlight and the box does not appear as a broken line. I've looked but can't find a setting that might not be switched on. Any ideas? Thanks!

Have you tried to right-click the field?

An alternativ for resizing is to select the point "Size and Position" (or similar, my version is a german one) from the context menu.

Is the behaviour in every report or only in certain? Is it the same if you create a new report and only add one text field?

It was only on that one particular machine, I moved to a new one, reinstalled XI, and it's fine. Thanks!
