mouseover to trigger after about a second

I have something similar to a drop down menu, which uses a mouseover to load a html page in an iframe. Problem is if the cursor accidently moves over another mouseover that is triggered, losing the menu you had before. What I want to do is have the mouseover triggered only if the cursor is on the mouseover for, say, 1 second.

Any help would be appreciated
